River Revelry--A Biodiversity Bash

CRBI's End-Of-The-Summer Celebration

The Upper Coosa River Basin is North America's most biologically diverse river system, and to celebrate this special place we're throwing a party. Join us Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Heritage Park in downtown Rome on the banks of the Coosa River.

Your $40 ticket ($35 for two or more tickets) includes complimentary beer and wine, a Barbecue Battle dinner and a year's membership in CRBI along with live music by My Friend's Band, boat rides on the Roman Holiday and CRBI's Arnmetia, silent and live auctions, games and A River Of Light ceremony in which  1000 candles will be lit and floated down Rome's three rivers in a beautiful display of fire and water. Ticket prices increase to $45 per person after Aug. 20.

 You will receive a confirmation e-mail with details and directions to the event. No paper tickets. Your name will be held at the gate.
