Welcome to Rome's second annual Polar Bear Paddle! This is an event to celebrate the Etowah River in Rome, Georgia. Enjoy this 6 mile long canoe trip, and experience the natural wonders of the area. Points of interest on this trip include Myrtle Hill Cemetery. This cemetery is the final resting place of Ellen Wilson, wife of President Woodrow Wilson. So set aside your Saturday for an educational and relaxing canoe trip on one of Georgia's premiere rivers!
