CRBI provides shuttle service and boat rentals for self-guided trips on the Etowah River each Saturday and Sunday (except on dates with guided paddle trips) from April through October. Scroll down to register!
Saturday Trips: Euharlee to U.S. 411
These trips take you through what is arguably the most scenic section
of the Etowah in Bartow County. It's 10 miles filled with Native
American fish weirs, shoals, springs, islands and enough play spots to
make for a great family outing. Start on Euharlee Creek in the shadows
of the historic covered bridge and finish at U.S. 411 between
Cartersville and Rome. Travel time: 4-6 hours Skill Level: Class I
shoals suitable for beginners and novices.Click

Sunday Trips: Grizzard Park to Downtown Rome
Perfect for a short Sunday afternoon ride on the Etowah, this trip
runs six miles from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources boat
ramp at the "Rome Loop" and Grizzard Park to Heritage Park in Rome.
You'll see Native American fish weirs, riverside springs and paddle
through historic downtown Rome to the confluence of the Etowah and
Oostanaula. The trip ends on the Coosa, making this a real three river
ramble. Travel time: 2-4 hours Skill Level: Class I shoals suitable
for beginners and novices.Click
