Each Saturday, Sunday and Holiday in which CRBI does not have a guided paddle trip planned, we offer shuttle services and boat rentals for trips on the Etowah River
This 10-mile float takes in perhaps the most scenic stretch of the Etowah in Bartow County. Starting in the shadows of the historic Euharlee Covered Bridge on Euharlee Creek, you'll venture down the Euharlee to the Etowah. Once on the Etowah, you'll paddle over Native American fish weirs and past cool, clear spring-fed creeks. The trip includes occasional shoals (Class I) and is a trip suitable for novices.
This 6-mile paddle town and country paddle takes you through the rural outskirts of Rome and into the heart of historic downtown. You'll float over Native American fish weirs and find plenty of places to play before finding your way to the Etowah's confluence with the Oostanaula in downtown. The last 500 yards of your journey will be on the Coosa River.
A shuttle fee of $10 per person will be collected at the launch site. Please bring cash or check to pay this fee. No shuttle fee will be charged for children accompanied by a parent or guardian.
These trips don't fit into your schedule? No problem. You can rent boats and arrange your own trip using our assistance for boat transport and shuttles or you can simply pick up your rental boats and arrange your own transport and shuttles.
Use the form below to register for one of these options and reserve your rental boats.
