Join CRBI and the Rome/Floyd ECO River Education Center and learn how to "adopt-a-stream."
This workshop will teach citizens how to conduct basic water quality tests on streams flowing through their neighborhoods. After the training and passing a simple test, participants will be certified as Georgia Adopt-A-Stream citizen volunteers. Once certified, participants can begin collecting stream health data and submitting it to Georgia's Adopt-A-Stream program where the information is used to track stream health and identify pollution problems.
River Education Center Director Eric Lindberg will conduct the class.
Lunch will be provided. There is no cost for the workshop, but participants must pre-register using the form below the map.
